Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2024 Hyundai Palisade- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. The great part is it's a hidden cross tube, so really the only thing that you're gonna see on the external part of the vehicle is gonna be your receiver tube opening while the rest of it lives behind the fascia, giving you a nice clean look but all the usability of your hitch. Our receiver tube opening is two inch by two inch, which is gonna be kind of the standard. So when it comes to accessories, whether it be a ball mount, cargo carrier or bike rack, you're gonna have tons of options available. Now all of them are gonna stay in place with a five eighths pin and clip, which is not included with the hitch. A lot of times when you pick up accessories, they'll have one included. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. It's a really nice design because it's a hidden cross tube, which means the only thing that you're gonna see visible when installed is gonna be your 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening while the rest of it hides behind the fascia, giving you a nice clean look. This size is gonna allow you to get a ton of different options when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts, and any of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now it does not come with the hitch. A lot of times when you pick up your accessories they'll have a pin and clip included, but if you want to keep your accessories loaded on your vehicle and not have to worry about people walking away with your accessories, you can pick up a locking version of these pin and clips here at etrailer, which is a little bit more peace of mind. We have a rolled style safety chain loop here, which is gonna be great if you plan on towing a trailer to be able to hook up your safety chains, whether it be a standard S hook or even a larger clevis style goes on here with no problem. more

Hi John with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Etrailer Class three receiver hitch on our 2023 Hyundai Palisade. So my first impressions of the etrailer hitch on the Palisade, I like the matte black finish. There is also a Curt receiver that we have that would have a gloss finish if that's what you like. We also have a stealth hitch available which the receiver tube actually would come off so there's absolutely nothing here to get in your way. So with that being said, this is a great option if you're looking to tow a trailer or hook up to a cargo carrier or a bike rack. more

Stealth Hitches Rack Receiver Installation - 2022 Hyundai Palisade- Video

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and show how to install the Stealth Hitches, Hidden Rack Receiver here on a 2022 Hyundai Palisade. So here's what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed on our vehicle. And if we look underneath the bumper, you'll be able to see that there's nothing actually shown. That's sort of the main draw of this trailer hitch here and that it has a completely hidden installation look when we're not using it. Now, when we are ready to use it, it's very simple to simply take our rack receiver here, find the latching mechanism on the bottom of the vehicle, remove your rubber cap, make sure it's unlocked and then just simply align the knob with the opening and press up to lock it in place. Now, we're ready to hook up our favorite bike rack or cargo carrier and hit the road. more

So our Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch here is going to be an excellent option for our Palisade. It's going to have the larger 2" receiver tube opening, which is going to allow us with a much greater variety of accessories to choose from, such as bike racks or cargo carriers.Now, if we want to use the trailer hitch for towing, we can certainly do that as well, with its class three rating. This class three rating is going to provide us with a 5,000 pound gross trailer weight rating, that's going to be how much we can pull on our fully loaded trailer. And it's going to have a 500 pound tongue weight rating, which is going to be the downward force on the receiver tube. more

These are available with either a base hitch option or a tow package hitch option, and this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed.Now you're probably wondering, well where is it It's hidden completely behind our bumper and there are different receivers and ball mounts that will insert right here into the bottom. Let's go ahead and head into the shop now so I can get it up on the lift just to make it easier for our camera man to get some visuals of what's going on underneath here. Our attachments simply just push right into place and there is a handle on one side here that when rotated will allow whatever's in there to release and just drop right down.What I really like about it is how easily it is to get your components installed. Hi there, Hyundai owners. Today on your 2020 Hyundai Palisade we're going to be taking a look and showing how to install CURT's Class 3 2" trailer hitch receiver. Your Hyundai Palisade's going to be a very capable vehicle that's going to handle pretty much all the tasks that you're going to want out of it, and so will this hitch. Being a 2" receiver, it's going to accept plenty of accessories, so whether you want to put a bike rack or a cargo carrier in it, you can easily load it up with four bikes or take some of the cargo you would have in your vehicle, put it on a cargo carrier, and free up the inside for more passengers. And since this is plenty substantial as far as its towing capacity, you could also bring a popup camper with you for the weekend, a boat, or even use a trailer to help somebody move.This is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. Our crosstube is going to be hidden behind the bumper so you're only going to see the receiver tube here at the back. more
